What most people do not realize is that he was once a victim of bullying. For years, he tried to outrun, outsmart, and hide from bullies in his small farm town in Canada.

Kids will be asked to take an anti-bullying pledge after Dave’s speech. This pledge will be a reminder to everyone who signs it to do the right thing: help protect kids that are being bullied by getting the aid of an adult, and to not use bullying as a way to express angry, dominant behavior.
